Wink- commending him on his presentation, the Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously followed a Planning Commission recommendation to deny Chilton Radford’s application for a special use permit to sell shoes weekends and evenings by appointment at his residence on Route 211 west of Amissville. The action came at the board's Feb. 22 session. The Washington Extension Homemakers Club will meet on Wednesday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Shirley Farmer at Peyton Estates in Washington. Sharon Luke will be the guest and will be speaking on “The Law and How It Affects Women " For more information call Lucille Price at 675-3427. The Child Care and Leurning Center (Sursum Corda) is sponsoring two culinary events in March, a family-style spaghetti dinner on March 17 and a series of elegant country suppers on March 31. Money raised from both will go towards the center’s 1984 operational budget.
