New jailer joins
department
The Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office welcomed a new face on June 15, adding jailer Raymond Furr, 22, to the department.
Furr is a graduate of Rappahannock ^County High School and was born and raised in Amissville. He now lives in Flint Hill with his wife and daughter.
“I was interested in law enforcement since I was 16, ” said Furr.
He hopes to work his way through the ranks and is now taking courses in law enforcement at Strayer University.
