Seniors Dean Hogan and Emily Carter capped their Rappahannock County High School athletic careers with one Final honor: Outstanding Male and Female Athletes for 2009. respectively.
The two were honored May 31 at the annual spring athletic awards dinner.
Hogan, who will play his college football at the University of Virginia-Wise, lettered in three sports throughout high school, including football, basketball and soccer.
Carter helped the Panthers' volleyball and softball teams to Region B appearances during her four-year career. She also played basketball. Carter will attend the University of Virginia this fall and major in nursing.
