The Commonwealth already had its day in court regarding the matter and should not have commented.
Even more disturbing than the original article and the Commonwealth Attorney’s comment was last week’s lame and petulant excuse given by this paper for writing the story in the . first place. I’ll paraphrase: “He wouldn’t talk to us after he excepted his check in public so we dragged him through some old mud.” Give me a break! If I were the winner of that lottery I’d sue this “paper” and the “reporter” for public harassment.
From now on I think I’ll find better use for my 75 cents.
