• Applications for its 2009 class training of the Old Rag Master Naturalists, a chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalist (VMN), at the Extension office in Madison County on Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The goal of the VMN Program is to produce a corps of citizen volunteers to help further understanding of our natural environment. The cost of the training is $125, with additional fees of up to $25. Class size is limited to -2Q, and the application deadline is June 30.
