am

overwhelmed

with gratitude’

I have so much to be thankful for. I leave on July 3 for my performing tour of Europe with the Sound of America honor band, and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their interest and support during the past few months.

I have received scores of encouraging letters from the entire community and from organizations both public and private. This adventure would not be possible without the financial and emotional support I’ve received from the citizens of Rappahannock, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

I would like to thank, in particular, the Rappahannock News for its undivided attention to my fundraisers; they wouldn’t have been the same without such attentive coverage.

I also would like to thank the Rappahannock County High School Band -in particular my brilliant director, David DeBoer- for unmatched support, friendship, and musical training, none of which I could do without.

To the Benyo family, thank you so much for throwing such a wonderful benefit concert for me; it undoubtedly facilitated my trip.

I am so blessed to live in a community so supportive of music and those who produce it, and I thank God every day for allowing me to live in a place as beautiful as Rappahannock. Thanks to all.
