June 26, 1969 A group of youngsters, working through the Arts and Grafts Group, spent Tuesday at Kilby's pond near Sperryville sketching and receiving instructions in art by Mrs. Helen Kilby and other members of the crafts group. At Kilby’s cabin high on a hillside were Windy Hill, Cindy Cumins, and Susan Coates, Doug Cumins, Dot Bennett, Wendy Montague and Janet Montague. They sketched scenes around the farm which offered views of the mountains, orchards and pond.
