Twice the dedication, twice the charm
As a: housekeeper, Mary Jackson’s job involves much more than cleaning rooms. It also involves interacting with our patients and their families. Whether she’s opening the door for a rehab patient on crutches, helping someone with directions, or simply offering a friendly smile or kind word, Mary understands her role in the big picture.
“I get to meet a lot of different people here, and I enjoy helping every one of them,” Mary says. “I also enjoy working with a great group of employees. They’re all so nice. Whenever someone needs something, everyone pitches in to help.”
Mary has worked at Fauquier Health for 29 years, and this is not the first time she was named the Employee of the Month.
‘Tm very proud that I was chosen twice for this award. ” Mary says. "The first time was twenty years ago, and since then, I’ve always felt the need to give a little something extra back. I just enjoy working for an Oiganization that has given me so much over the years.”
