Gillespie, who lost five girls and'five boys from last year’s team but has his top two runners returning, Beth Yowell and Mark Williams Peter Kramer has formally appealed the-decision by the town of Washington Architectural Review Board to allow demolition of the additions to the Gay Street Mercantile Building, and parts of the summer house behind that building, to the Town Council. Since Kramer’s appeal was not filed in time to advertise* for a public hearing at the council's regular September meeting, the council will not'd to decide whether it will schedule a public hearing for later in the month or include it on the agenda for its October meeting. The council plans to do this at its Sept 8 meeting.
