Council Moves For Closer Observance Of Fire Ordinance Traffic Studies Lead To Placing Of New Markers Town Council Tuesday night moved forward with its program seeking elimination of deficien cies in observance of the town's fire ordinance. Members of the Fire commit tee, Councilmen Bio ; m f i e 1 d. Forbes and Davis, reported <n their recent inspection of busi ness places and of deficiencies found which are detrimental to public safety. Council then directed Town Manager L. Z. Johnston Jr., to forward instructions to such firms :n means of complying with the ordinance. Such firms are to re ply on action taken by February 5. With these in hand the council will consider any additional ac tion if necessary during its Fc - ruary 10 meeting.
