Bates expects to have before go ing overseas. Others present were Mrs. Bates, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Bates, of Amelia, Mr. and Mrs. G. L Booth, and Mr. and Mrs. Mil ton Booth and son, Ronney. of Farmville. Miss Annette Emert spent last Sunday night with Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Shultz here. This community misses the Roberts family who moved away recently. However we welcome Mr. and Mrs. John Lowe, who moved into the same house last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Woolridge spend each Tuesday and Friday nights of the wees with her father. B. A. Crump, of Buck:ing nam, who continues ill at his home there. We hope he will soon
