Mrs. B. F. Richardson Honors Two Guests At Ampthill Party Mrs. B. P. Richardson gave a party at Ampthill. near Carters ville, Friday night in honor of Jimmy Cooke and BUI Pleasants. Games were played and re lreshments of jello. cookies, and candy were served. Guests included Margaret Whitlock. Margaret Cooke, Bar bara Martin. Jackie Blanton. Eldridge Blanton, III, Freddie Gamage, bus an Pepper, Jeanie and Barbara Ann Johnson. Judy Duncan, and Maria Baber. Miss Jean Duncan assisted Mrs. Richardson in leading the games and serving refreshments. Guinea The congregation of Guinea and Centenary churches were fortunate in hearing helpful and inspiring New Year's sermons on Jan. 4 and Jan. 11, by Richard Morgan, of the Seminary In Richmond, an 1 by the Rev. J. S. King, of Cumberland. Among those present at Guinea Church were Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Beasley, of Cumberland, and Mr. and Mrs. Walton Sanderson and grand - ton. stopped over for a short visit on her way home with her sister and brother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Amos, last Sunday, after a visit with relatives in Prospect. Mrs. O. M. Ingle and san. Ed ward. were guests of relatives in Knoxville, Tenn., last week. Miss Mary Moorefield, of Rich mond. spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Moorefield. Mrs. Ruby Brown and Mrs. Belle Levasseur and son. Je:ry, visited Mr. nnd Mrs. A. C. Allen, near Farmville, last Sunday afternoon.
