Taylor, Jr. FARM PROFITS The farmers' share of consumer spending for food has dropped to the lowest point since the begin ning of the Korean war, according to the Agriculture Department. Farm prices declined three per cent in December, ending the year 12 per cent under the level of a year ago, or at the lowest level in more than two years. The farmer-produced's share of the food dollar has slipped to an aver age of • 46 cents, compared with 49 cents a year ago and 50 cents for the 1951 average. Drafts and notes differ in that the former is a written order to pay; the latter a written promise to pay.
