Supervisor* Approve Board’s Application For Dillwyn School Buckingham county supervisors at their January meeting ap proved an application that the Buckingham School Board sent to the State Board of Education. This application requested $122 ,000 of State School Construction Funds for a now school building ! at Dillwyn. In approving this application, the board will provide cash ap propriations or levy to complete this project. Supervisors granted use of school board funds to" the project if the board has sufficient funds on hand to complete the project. Another resolution at the Jan uary meeting approved plans or the State Highway Department to improve n section of Route No. 650 and agreed to provide neces sary right-of-ways from second ary funds allocated, or to be al located, to the county. Supervisors also ordered a gen eral reassment of real property in the county in 1953 in compli ance with the Code of Virginia. McCraw home for a visit and brought news which will be of interest to the entire neigh borhood; namely the old McCraw place has been sold to a retired Baptist minister from Tennessee.
