Stratford Hall, birthplace of General Robert E. Lee. will open free to the public on January 19. General Lee's birthday and the opening of Virginia Historic Attractions Month, ending on Washing ton’s birthday. February 22. Feature of the opening will be a candlelight visitation to Stratford, with the public invited. From dusk until 8:00 p. m. the famous mansion will be illuminated with candles.
