To Present Play
The members of the east of the Flint Hill P.-T. A. play “The Campbells are Coming,” a three act farce comedy by Jay Tabias as still busy rehearsing the play to be presented at the Fiint Hill School on Friday and Saturday nights, Mrach 24 and 25. Reserved seat tickets are now on sale at the First National Bank in Flint Hill.
The cast includes: Ma. Brannigan, who lives for her grandchildren, Mrs. John S. Browning; Catalpa Tapp, the hillbilly servant, Mrs. G. W. Smith; Betty Brannigan, Ma’s younger grand daughter, Miss Lelia Gentry; Dick Brannigan, Ma’s grandson, Rev. Norman J. Flythe; Bildad Tapp, Catalpa’s father, John S. Browning; Cyrus Scudder, who wants to marry Ma, H. S. Barksdale; Jeffrey Scudder, his nephew, Claude Cook; Kaye Bfrannigan, Ma’s elder granddaughter, Mrs. B. J. Wood; Kingston Campbell, Kay’s fiancee, Charles B. Wood* Mrs. Augusta Campbell, his aristocratic mother, Mrs. James E. Yates.
Time—A Saturday morning in June.
Place—The Brannigan’s simmer cabin by a lake in the Ozarks.
Dr. Branch Attends
Committee Hearing
Dr. C. H. H. Branch, Jr., of Salt Lake City, Utah, was the guest Tuesday of his mother and sister, Mrs. Branch and Mr§. C. E. Johnson, Jr., at Sperry\ille.
Dr. Branch, head of the department of psychiatry, University of Utah Medical School, was sent east to represent ten western states in Washington, D. C., in a hearing before a sub-committee on mental hygiene, department of health. This special hearing pertains to a $27,000,000 appropriation for mental hygiene clinics and education throughout the 48 states.

Board of Assessors
Judge J.R.H. Alexander, in Circuit Court Monday, appointed Joseph D. Keyser, C. E. Johnson, Jr., and E. M. Jones, three freeholders of Rappahannock county, as the Board of Assessors for the general re-assessment of real estate for 1950. These three men were among the six names recommended by the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors in the meeting March 1.
