Twenty-eight members of the Washington Chapter attended a Northern Triangle Federation meeting at Berryville, March 1. While there we talked of having a Federation basketball tournament, which was held last Wednesday at Front Royal.
Our 'boys won against Front Royal but lost when competing against Loray. While at our meeting we saw a movie and had several other entertainments. After the meeting refreshments were served by two Clark county boys and we left for home.
We held our regular F. F. A. meeting Monday, March 6 in our agricultural class room.
The boys in shop made a walnut end table and sold chances on it. At our meeting on March 6, we got a grade pupil to come down and draw one of the chances.
We didn’t feel that an FFA member should do the drawing as several other people in the ^community took chances.
The winner was our chapter secretary, Irvin Corbin.
We also have some real nice frying size chickens now for sale. We have sold some and the reports we have gotten back from the buyers is that they are tlje best and the tenderest they have ev’er eaten. So get yours now or you might be left out. Anyone who wants to buy soma, get in toueh with Mr. Wagner or an FFA boy.
