SUSAN WOOD W. M. S. MET WITH MISS ANN BROWN

The Susan Wood Missionary Society met on Wednesday evening with Miss Ann B. Brown at “Rock Villa.’’ Devotionals were led by the Rev A.. Paul Thompson. Mrs. B. M. Varner had charge of the program which was based on “How Christian is America.” Those taking part were Mrs. W. J. Brown. Mrs. Lucy Clater and Miss Ann Brown. After the business discussion, the hostess solved refreshments, assisted by her mother, Mr. J. Rodes Brown.

LOU KEYSER MISSIONARY GROUP TO SPONSOR PARTY

The Lou Keyser Young People’s Missionary Group of Washington Baptist church will sponsor a Stanley Brush Party on Wednesday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m., at the W ashington Fire House. The party will be under the supervision of Mrs. Frances Tobin of Front Royal.

The proceeds from the party will be used to purchase an engraving of Washington Baptist church to be used on the front cover of the church bulletin.

The young People’s Missionary Group, organized several weeks ago by the pastor,-figv-.~M-.-E. Sirger, was named for the mother of John A. Keyser, former superintendent of the Sunday School for many years.
