It is with apprehension that Rappahannock News learned that two enterprising young men of the Sperryville community were considering going into competition in the news-printing business. Their plans to date seem a little unorthodox to the printers on the corner in Washington, hut everyone realizes in this day and time that the novel sometimes is the greater success. These hoys have in mind the printing of the choice bits of gossip derived mainly from the “grapevine.” They say that they know they can get 50-cents per copy (which no one doubts) but that the main source of revenue will come in the form of “hush money,” on Wednesday night, jvst prior to the hour at which the paper is to be printed. We await the first issue, for we feel that / blue convertible Buick and a green Buick will be making a fast exit from these parts.
