Cancer Society Prepares

For April Drive

Mrs. H. C. Warwick, county chairman for the cancer drive of 1950, announces the organization of workers and preliminary work which is being done in preparation for the campaign which starts in the county April 1.

The following workers have agreed to serve as chairmen of their districts: Mrs. S. Riley of Amissville; Mrs. R. L. Massie, Flint Hill; Mis. Gilbert Updike, Washington, Mrs. B. F. Miller, Sperryville, Mis. Lilly Baiber, F. T. Valley, and Mrs. C, R. Hite, Peola Mills.

The supervisor of the colored work in the county is Mrs. Blanche Fletcher, who is also as' sisting Mrs, H. C. Warwick, the county chairman, in placing posters and coin boxes at the colored schools in Washington, Flint Hill, Amissville and Scrabble.

Educational movies have been shown at the Washington and Sperryville schools.
