Senior Class News
In Economics class the Seniors are studying union made products, labor unions and their importance. The class has also enjoyed giving and hearing interesting speeches concerning unions and their importance to employers and employees.
Interviews and business letters in English class are getting close attention by the seniors. Sure! you guessed it, I’ll soon have an inteniew with the manager of Planters Peanut Company, with graduation a matter of weeks away.
In Home Ec class the girls are busy sewing and cooking. Some of the senior girls had a thrilling experience last Friday, serving in the cafeteria, we soon realized the importance of specialization in division of labor, as studied in Economics class.
The Senior Government class is planning on having a trial in the courthouse in connection with our study of the different court and trial procedures. We are also looking forward to our trip to Washington, D. C., where we will visit many of our historical and governing buildings, including the Capitol, Supreme Court Building, Bureau of Commerce, Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institute, and many others if we have time. Though we realize one could spend days in just one of these buildings we are sure it will be a day well spent and long remembered by the Seniors of 1350.
Auto Licenses On Sale
Since auto licenses went on sale March 15, sales for the week, up to late yesterday afternoon, numbered about 50 auto tags sold and about 25 trucks.
