County P.-T. A.
With the school session of 195051 heralding in Rappahannock County High School, a suggestion has come forward that there will be need for a parent-teacher organization of the entire county for the new county high school. This will be independent of the separate P.-T. A.’s in each school (they are necessary in each locality) but the county-wide P.-T. A. will serve where all join for the one high school.
The suggestion has been made that this new organization be one for business only, leaving the programs and social affairs for the individual school’s P.-T. A.
After all, Amissville, Slate Mills, Forest Grove, Huntly, Flint Hill, Belle Meade, Castleton, Ben Venue, and every other community will be interested in Rappahannock County High School. Our high school of next year will be neither Washington nor Sperryville—it will belong to the entire county to see that Rappahannock County High School is a credit to all.
