Spring Is Here
Last Tuesday Spring was officially welcomed. But for weeks ’* jubilant admirers have felt it in the air.
We pupils of W.H.S. have a special place in our heart for spring—for this is the season when we can excuse our mischievous actions by blaming them on ‘spring fever’. We feel free and unconquerable.

All worries are forgotten and f every prospect for the future, f seeming brighter than the sun, in at attempt to redeem itself for the dark winter days, bursts forth in brilliant, cleansing rays.
Spring is regarded with a mixture of joy and of sadness, for it is during this season that some of us will receive our diplomas and leave Washington High.
It is impossible to harness our thoughts by studying—the hardest lessons Seem trivial for through the window we can see the great outdoors beckoning.
