Lena Mae Green, a sophomore at Madison college, spent the week end at her home.
Louise King is spending several days at her home cKe to illness. Louise is also a student at Madison college.
Floyd Hitt is mow employed at Hoffman Implement Service in Culpeper.
On Febuary 27 Anna Mae Martin and Hilda Nethers received caps at a capping service held in Rockingham Memorial hospital. This means they have climbed one step higher toward their goal.
County News Notes
Wade Yowell returned Friday to the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Mitchell at Peola Mills, after having been a patient for the past ■week at the University hospital, Charlottesville. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mitchell, Jr. and family of Culpeper, were Sunday guests of the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Mitchell.
Mrs. Rosa Singleton of Washington spent the • week end with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hawkins.
R. M. Johnson and Raymond Johnson were Charlottesville visitors Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Turner and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller were luncheon guests Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea.
Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanford and their two sons of Orange spent the week end at Hill Top, the home of Mrs. Sanford’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Miller. Rev. A. Paul Thompson of Sperryville, was the dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dodson at Peola Mills. Mrs. Mary Dulaney spent the week end at the Dodson home.
