The full-length veil of bridal illusion iwas attached to a tiara of seed pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses, babies’ breath, and stephanotis with long white $atin streamers.
The bride had as her maid of ’honor her cousin, Miss Helen E. Johnson of Hagerstown, Md., who wore an aqua gown of imported net over taffeta, with a sweetheart neckline and a full skirt caught into a drape with a rosebud. She carried a shower bouquet of yellow rosebuds with matching flowers in her hair.
Little Miss Rebecca Rector, tiny niece of the bride and Little Miss Rose-Marie Partlow, also niece of the bride, were flower girls. They wore high necked mousseline de soie dresses with puffed sleeves and bouffant skirts in yellow and blue. They carried baskets of yellow and white rose petals and sprinkled them up the aisle before the bride.
The bridegroom had as his best man Carson B. Johnson, brother of the bride. Ushers vere John M. Partlow of Washington, D. brother-in-law of the bride, Ellis Pullen of Sperryville, and Dean L. Bartles of Hagerstown, Md.
For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Johnson chose a navy blue frock with matching accessories and a corsage of white carnations.
The bridegroom’s mother was attired in navy blue with white
