That the Chairman of the Regional school board who incidentally is also the Supervisor of county education, and a business firm in Culpeper have erected several sweat boxes on property adjoining the regional high school and are now in the process of erecting more, are putting the squeeze on the principal to eliminate e- ery teacher who is not a rental prospect in order to still feather this firm’s nest at the cost of the taxpayers of the regional district.
6. That teachers have been hired who are not qualified to meet the approval of the principal’s wife, .who is the head of the home economics department and said teachers have been ordered to attend summer school in order to come up to the State requirements.
7. That the property upon which these sweat boxes have been erected was inveigled out of the owner by a very, very submissive Negro under the disguise of the school board needing it and when the sale was confirmed it was deeded to the Chairman of the Regional Board and a local business firm, the owner stating had he known the sale would not have been made.
8. That a statement was made in the presence of the Negro State Supervisor in reference to why this eligible teacher was not hired and the ineligible one was hired, was made by the principal's wife “That she could handle her.”
9. That the principal is only a rubber stamp official and is not interested in the welfare of the children, only interested in obtaining renters for this set of racketeers who are ''forcing thesesweat boxes on the incoming teachers.
10. That the water and sewerage of these sweat boxes are connected to the regional high school plant furnished to public officials at the expense of the taxpayers.
11. That the renters have to pay the rent the year round in order to hold their jobs.
12. That the renters cannot take in renters unless they state to the owners through the principal hbw much rent they are getting.
13. That the turn over of local teachers in the last two years has been alarming.
