The Vacation Bible School of Flint Hill closed Friday, June 16. There were 90 students enrolled during the week. The average attendance was 84.

WHITE ELEPHANT SALE NETS AUXILIARY $70
The amount of $70 was realized from the White Efephant and auction sale sponsored by the Trinity Auxiliary in front of the Courthouse in Washington last Saturday, June 10.
Mrs. W. A. Miller, chairman of the sale wishes to thank all those who helped to make the sale a success.
ENLISTS IN NAVY
Gordon Jenkins, son of. Mrs. ‘Virginia Jpnkins, who has enlisted in the Navy, left Tuesday for Great Lakes, 111., where he will take his basic training.
TEA AT “ROCKBOTTOM”
Mrs. H. C. Warwick entertained the members of Flint Hill Garden club at a tea at “Rockbottom” Thursday afternoon from 3:30 to I 6 o’clock.
