Ladies Receive Prizes
At Homemakers' Party
, A homemakers’ party conducted by Mrs. Elizabeth Messersmith, home economist of the Westinghouse Consumer Products, was held at Wood Bros. Packing House in Flint Hill Tuesday evening at 7:30. -
Mrs. Messersmith demonstrated the latest methods in using the modern cooking equipment on exhibition. A washing machine demonstraiton was held also at this time.
A moving picture, entitled “So Much for Henry” contrasted the new model refrigerator with the old.
A guessing game was played

h prize ..given to the one who guessed nearest the temperature of the colder-cold-compartment of a refrigerator 20 minutes after it was turned on. The reading was 7%? below zero. The four ladies . who missed the guess by % were^ Mrs. Ben Mallory, Mrs. Frances Gilbert, Mrs. John Brady, and Mrs. Frances Bradford.
Food prizes were received by these guests at the party: Mrs. Frances Gilbert, the oven dinner; Mrs. John Brady, the meat' dish; Mrs.,. Herbert Foster, the Dutch dinner; Mrs. M. E. Sliger, the lemon pudding; Mrs. Edna Moore, the cream puffs; and Mrs. J. P. Cook, the fish cooked in .the demonstration.
A name-drawing contest was. held and Mrs. John Brady, Mrs. Elsie Dodson, and MrJ. John S. j Browning received gifts of electric Irons.
