JULIA HAYGOOD CIRCLE ENTERTAINS MRS. KRAUSE ^
The Julia Haygood Circle of Flint Hill entertained Tuesday afternoon, June 6th, in the home of Mrs. M. E. Sliger, honoring Mrs. Walter Krause. Mrs. Krause was presented with a box of lovely linen handkerchiefs. She and her little son, Walter Jr., are making plans to join her husband in Washington, D. C., where he is employed.
Those present were Mrs. David Corbin, Mrs. B. J. Wood, Mrs. C. B. Wood, Mrs. Billy Gilbert, Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. J. H. McGee, Mrs. Dick Latham, Mrs. Dudley Moore, Mrs. Lewis Moore, Miss Margaret Dodson, and Mrs. Walter Krause.
RAPPAHANNOCK CIRCUIT QUARTERLY CONFERENCE
The third Quarterly Conference of the Rappahannock Circuit of the Methodist Church Mil be held Friday, June 23, at 11 o’clock at Oak Shade church in Culpeper county.

The Si san Wood Missionary Society met; Wednesday night, June 7, at the homlTof Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Mrs. P. Lee Thornton was program leader for the month, and she gave a very^ interesting discussion on the origin and beliefs of the various churches in the United States. Following the meeting refreshments were served by the hostess.
