Boy ixout Caravan To Be
In Warrenton For 3 Days
A caravan of 15 buses carrying 546 Boy Scouts and their leaders from the Greater Cleveland Council, Boy Scouts of America, Cleveland, Ohio, will arrive in Warrenton Saturday evening, June 24, for a three-day stay in Virginia before moving on to the National Boy Scout Jamboree at Valley Forge, Pa., June 30 to July 6.
The 14 troops from Cleveland will pitch tents on the estate of Hubert B. Phipps near town, and on the first evening will be treated to a beef barbecue sponsored by the Association for Greater Warrenton. The Scouts will attend the Warrenton Pony Show following the barbecue.
After church services Sunday morning the remainder of the day will be spent quietly and will include visits to points of interest in and near Warrenton. The camp will be open to visitors Sunday and in the evening the Scouts iwill be guests of the Warrenton Polo Club at a polo match.
Early Monday morning the contingent will head for Washing-i ton, D. C., where the day will be spent sightseeing in the Nation’s Capital. The Scouts will return to Warrenton in the evening. A visit to the Luray Caverns and a trip over the Skyline Drive is planned for Tuesday.
Wednesday morning the miniature tent city will break camp and head for Gettysburg and thence to Valley Forge. The Warrenton Scouts will serve as guides for. the Cleveland visitors during their stay there.

Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., was hostess to the bridge club at her home Wednesday evening, June 14.
Mrs. H. C. Warwick won the high'score prize, Mrs. C. T. Bruce the consolation and the two bingo prizes were received by Mrs. J. W. Price and Mrs. B. M. Miller. .
