The supply of labor is expected to develop into a real problem. _ Orchard equipment and parts will become scarce as steel and other metals are diverted to more essential needs. Spray chemicals and other materials are sure to be less plentiful and costs higher. , On the other hand, apple pro- . duction in 1951 for the country as a whole Is expected to ibe somewhat less than it was in 1950.
