Red Cross Classes
To Be Organized
Classes in first aid and home nursing are to be organized in the county at an early date. These Red Cross classes are a part of the defense* program being set up rapidly throughout the 'nation.' v’ , . The elaas in home nursing wilt ; be held ia Dr. Snead's office at Sperryville and will be taught by Mrs. John P. Snead. Registration for this class can be made by calling Mrs. D. D. Miller.
The Red Cross first aid classes are^asking for volunteers as teachers: (Volunteers will please call Mrs. D. D. Miller.) These classes are to be taught to school Children as well as to adults. The Rappahannock chapter of the Red Cross is presenting the text books to the school library for use by the school children. Emphasis on the school classes will be on safety as well as emergency first aid.
