Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins were in Front Royal shopping Thursday. '

Rev. and Mrs. S. Felton Carter and Rev. Russell Cherry were supper guests of Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson on Thursday evening.

Mrs. W. G. Eastham and daughter were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr.

Mrs. Graham Hackley and son * spent last Wednesday with Mrs. Hackley’s parents Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Zinn.

Miss Ruth C. Menefee and George Effren of Washington, D. C., were weekend guests of Mrs. Virginia M. Lewis. '

Mrs. Will Keyser and Joe DeJ. Keyser had as their guests Sunday at “Pleasant View” Dr. Joe DeJarnett, Miss Minerva Rosen, Miss Ora Hopkins of Staunton, Dr. and Mrs. Edward Keyser of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Green Went last Tuesday in Winchester.

Miss Mary Massie Lea of Stuart Hall, Staunton, who has been spending her East*; %«catkm with her parents, returned to school Tuesday.
