Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wire and their twin daughters $f “The Shade’’, were there to see Rappahannock in all it’s glory. Mrs.N. K. Tholand of “Piedmont Farm’’ and a party of friends, we were glad to see were there also.
James W. Fletcher MFH, of the Rapp’k Hunt, Mrs. Fletcher and children Bucky, Louise, and Cathy, were pulling for the riders; Mayor Dorothy C. Davis was therq, with her family; Randolph Duffy was the starter: R. C. Scott was mighty busy clerkmg at the scales; D. D. Miller had his share of work listing the horses; patrol judges were Oliver Durant, J. E. Keyser, Jr., Miss Susan Shiner, Joe Johnson, PSilip Shiner and Bob Menefee.
Mrs. E. W. Raley of Washington, D.C., was on hand to see her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mr. Jack DeBergh, give their horses an excellent ride.
