In desperation, he decided to spend 50c of every dollar for advertising. Last year he grossed 324-million and spent 312mfilion doing it. Instead of sitting down and crying about how much he had to spend, he asked his Hollywood audience, “is there anything wrong with having 312million left?’’ This year, he expects to spend 330- to 335-million and gross 360- to 370-million.
