Neve Kasson Brace was named for her father’s friend, Senator Kaason. She attended a private school at "Oak Hill,” home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wood. Her teacher was the famous Miss Annie Powers, who was a devout Episcopalean, and from her, little Neva Brace learned to lore the Episcopal church. It was well that she did for She was destined to marry into an Episcopal family.
John Richard Cooper wi* vestryman in St. Paul’s (the church that blew away) until Emmanuel was built in his home town in 1909. He then served as vestryman, secretary and treasurer of the new church until his death. His son-in-law Harry Treacott succeeded him in these offices, in which he served until his death. Mrs. Harry TrOscott- (Catherine Cooper) is our faithful and efficient organist.
