The Walrus has often heard “He who tooteth not his own horn, getteth It not tooted.** Well, I'm afraid that those who worked to make the Point-to-Point gaces a success will not do enough "tooting of their own horns,” so, some of the rest of us will have to toot for them.
Please consider this a very loud blast.

When the time comes to clean, prunings from the orchards, the orchardist wishes he had one of those fancy contraptions that eliminates the burden of moving the branches. The machine just ridesover the brush and chews it up.
After the exciting races at Rappahannock Hunt’s Point-to-Point Saturday, the printers at the paper are wishing they had all manner of engraving equipment in order to print all the pictures made of the races. Unfortunately, the country weekly hasfft the fancy equipment of the big city dailies, and engravings take some days to be sent off and returned, and, likewise, photographers require a day or two to do their developing of the pictures—so there we sit.
The secretary of Rappahannock Hunt has some fine pictures made during the races. There is one of Wade III with his hat half-way to the ground. The photographer caught the picture just as he was going over a jump and lost his hat.
The pictures showed the countryside to be as beautiful as all the age-old bragging of every citizen who ever loved the country.
