Swan Announces New
Ferguson Dealership
The latest announcement from J. A. Swan, Jr., A Co., of Culpeper is that they are now an authorized agency for Ferguson traitors and farming equipment, sales and service.
“Hearing all about the 5-star General Mac Arthur, reminded us that now we are a 5-star dealer— Oliver, New Holland, Frigidaire, Jeep, and Ferguson," stated J. Douglas Swan of J. A. Swan, Jr., A Co.
“We’ve been in business for 50 years,” continued Mr. Swan, “and a great deal of thought and planning was given before we took this dealership. Our decision was reached after we found how well it (works in with our other lines. It m>w~ gives us farm equipment from the smallest tractors, and price ranges through a large line of wheel type, gas and diesel tractors, into the big crawlers. It now means a complete line, of equipment under one roof for the customer.”
Mi*. Swan reiterated that this was no temporary" move, it is a permanent dealership, and the first order for parts had gone in and some were already on hand. “Service behind the equipment,” has always been our policy,” Mr. swan stated. “There are five men here who have serviced farm equipment for J. A. Swan, A Co., for a total of store than 100 years,” he said.
