Flint Hill Garden Club
Met With Mr*. Settle
The Flint Hill Garden Glub met at the home of Mrs. James M. Settle Wednesday,. April 11, with eight members present. The garden club agreed to sponsor a clean-up day April 28. The Boy ' Scouts of Flint Hill will have change of removing all trash, and will help in any way possible to make the clean up program successful. Claude Cook is Scout leader of the Flint Hill troop.
Mrs. M. R. Bradford was presented with a navy blue purse by the club. Mrs. Settle was given a flower container for having entered the most exhibits in 1950, also for getting the highest score. Mrs. J. P. Cook was awarded 1st at the meeting for having the most perfect flowers. Mrs. M. E. Sliger was awarded 1st for the special arrangement class. Mrs. Settle won the general arrangement class.
Mrs. J. P. Cook was in charge of the program, and gave a talk on annuals.
