Frank Carter, 64, died April 16 at his ,iome, following a long period ot ill wealth. He was a life-long resident of Rappahannock county, an Odd fallow, and a member of the hirst Baptist church.

Jackson of Fairfax, Miss Catherine Gaiter of Washington, Mrs. Dorothy Jackson and Mrs. Estdle Butler of Sperryville, Mrs. Frances Chadour of Pennsylvania, Welford and Richard Carter of New Jersey, and Franks, Jr., and William Carter of Washington. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Mrs. Estella Alexander of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Margaret Miner of North Carolina; a brother, Francis Carter of Washington, D. C., and 17 grandchildren.
