BIRTHDAY SHOWER
On Wednesday night, April 11 members of the Woodville and Mt.* Lebanon churches gave a surprise f birthday shower for their pastor, Rev. S. Felton Carter. Each member brought a penny for each year the pastor was old. There were around sixty present.
Trout Season Opens
In Shenandoah Park
The National Park Service has 'announced that the trout season opens in Shenandoah National Park on April 20 at sunrise.
The following regulations govern fishing on those portions of all streams lying wholly within the Park. On those portions of the streams which follow the boundary line of the Park, the state of Virginia laws and regulations governing fishing shall apply.
(1) All waters in the Park ate open to trout fishing; fishing for all other types of fish in the waters of the Park is prohibited.
