Clean-up day is over as a pTOSram sponsored by the town council and mayor of ‘‘she town”, but 'we hope it is always going to be clean up day in the minds of the people of our town and county. We all know what fun has been had in joking and talking about “SHE TOWN”, but the ladies do deserve credit for the work they have done since last Sept 1. Of course some men are still dubious about “She Town” overhearing a telephone conversation the other day I heard a Man About the Country remark “gotta” get out’a this town “look what’s happened to Lee Thornton since his wife (went to work in “She Town”.

A lady from a neighboring town waa very angry over the lack of chairs and heat in the clerk’s office Friday, seems she was doing some research work, she was tired, her feet were killing her and she was freezing to death. I tried to explain to the lady that it was clean-up day and more peopie were in town than usual to help, “Well tell them all they need around here is chairs and heat.” All right “Court House Gang” it’s up to you now!
