Garden Tour Brings
Many Visitors
It is estimated that three times as many guests were in Rappahannock Thursday, May 10, for the second annual Garden .Club’s tour of homes as were present for last year’s opening tour.
This fine attendance is a credit to the fine tour aifanged last year, as well as the arrangement of the tour this year. It was thought that the publicity was not as wide-spread as it had been for last year’s tour, and that possibly those interested would not have heard about it. Evidently, the tour last year was worth talking about, and guests must have convinced others of the pleasant trip they missed, and caused resolutions to be on the lookout for the date of the tour this year.

Latham Accepts
Position With Bank
Miss Mary Miller Latham of Amissville, has accepted a position as bookkeeper for the Rappahannock National Bank. Miss Latham assumed her duties May 16. Miss Latham was a graduate of the class of 1349 at Washington High School, and attended Strayers Business School in Washington, D.C. Allen D. Johnson, who has been assistant cashier at the bank for the past four and a half years will report for duty in the armed forces May 22.
