Mr. and Mr*. G. Tyler Miller and Elite Browning Miller of Madison College, Harrisonburg were guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Settle and Mrs. John J. Miller Friday. Little Miss Miller remained with the Settles and Mrs. Miller. Mr. and Mrs. G. Tyler Miller spent the week end with Col. and Mrs. B. F. Miller at their home in Richmond, returning to Flint Hill Sunday, they were accompanied back to Harrisonburg by Mrs. John J. Miller, who will visit them for two weeks.
F. D. Coffey, an employee of * the State Highway Department, at Falls Church, was called to Tyro on Wednesday by the death of his brother L. K. Coffey. Mrs. Coffey joined Mr. Coffey Thursday for the funeral. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Coffey, accompanied by Mrs. Harry Smith and her daughter Elizabeth Smith, were shopping in Culpeper. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Coffey visited their cousins Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Baker in Luray.
Mrs. Stevenson spent tfie week end with Mrs. Richie Colvin.
Jack Brown, who has a position with the Hercules Powder Co., in Radford, was a week-end guest of his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown.
