DeBERGHS TO JUDGE HORSE SHOW IN NEW YORK
Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh have accepted an invitation to be judges at the Knox School horse show in Cooperstown, N.Y., on May 30. While there, the DeBerghs will be guests of the school.
Knox School is Mrs.eDeBergh’s alma mater, and it is a singular honor that she iwas invited to return to act as judge in the horse show. ,

Give Music Program
The combined primary and elementary grades of Rappahannock schools held their annual music festival program Friday, May 11, at Sperryville school.
More than 600 children were gathered for the occasion with about 100 children taking active parts in the dances and May Court festivities. Rain threatened during the day, but held off until late evening to allow the youngsters to give the charming and entertaining program.
Miss Charlotte Golladay, county music instructor, was in charge of the county-wide program.
The finale was “My Country ’Tis of Thee,’’ in which a combined chorus of children and guests present took part.

David Wright
Wounded In Korea
Cpl. David Wright, son of Mrs. Roberta Wright who recently moved from Washington to Washington, D. C., has been wounded in Korea in the line of duty. It was reported that Cpl. Wright was seriously wounded, that he was moved from Korea to a hospital in Japan and could noj be located. Cpl. Wright was wound- , ed in the arm; his condition is not serious, and he expects to report back to his company in Korea for duty, where he has been for 12 months.
