MOTHERS DAY PROGRAM AT FLINT HILL CHURCH
Under the direction of Miss Elsie Doason the Baptist church of Flint Hill presented a Mother’s Day program Sunday. The children presented a Mother’s Day quiz, devotional and skit on Christian family life in the home. Children taking part on the program were Johnnie Browning, Dudley Wood, Buddy Lillard. Bobbie Lillard, Ginger Russell, Amenta Wood, Richard Corbin, Judy Latham, Frances Wood, Buddy Moore, Gracie Pullen, Ann Pullen and Billy Pullen.

AYLOR HOSTESS TO SPERRYVILLE W. S. C. S.
Mrs. H. H. Aylor, Jr., was hostess to the Woman s Society of Christian Service, which met on Wednesday evening at eight o’clock in the dining room of the Lee Highway Hotel. Mrs. Nina Brown called the meeting to order and read the Scripture lesson from Luke 10: 25-37, after which a prayer was offered. After the routine business session a discussion on the topic “Be Strong in The Lord” was led by Mrs. H. H. Aylor, Jr., with other members of the rgoup taking part. During the social hour which followed, the hostess, assisted by Mrs. H. H. Aylor served refreshments.

Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning entertained a few of their friends at bridge Friday evening at their home in Flint Hill, having as guests Mr. and Mrs. Mark Turner of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie McGehee. Prizes were won by Mr s.M e Gehee for ladies and R. E. Wood for men.
