Drinking Fountain
Installed At R. C. H. S.
The new out-door drinking1 fountain, purchased a year or so ago, has been installed on the grounds at Rappahannock High School, near the old pump on the west side of the building. The fountain gets its water from the town supply.
This addition to the school equipment is a great comfort and convenience to the pupils, especially the smaller ones, who imbibe freely, particularly in the last warm days of the session.
-- BENEFIT CARD PARTY AT FIRE HOUSE TONIGHT
There will be a benefit card party tonight (Thursday) at 7:30 at the Washington fire house, sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Rappahannock Volunteer Fire Company. A prize will be awarded to each table. If you do not play bridge there will be other card games, call your friends now and arrange a table for tonight. Admission 50 cents. Call Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., or Mrs. Robert Massie, and they will have your table ready When you arrive. Tables reserved So far are, Mrs. Will Keyser, Mrs. Maude Gore, ’ Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. W. A. Moore, and Marion Watts, reports Mrs. Wade Massie.
