Business was more or routine dealing with sheep claims* .welfare cases, and hospitalisation for the indigent at U. Va. Hospital, Charlottesville.
D. S. Butler, Virginia State Highway Resident Engineer, reported on road conditions in the County. He stated that in regard to the request by the Supervisors to improve the road to the Aileen plant, that there would be $8,000 available in addition to the regular highway budget for this purpose from the Special Fund for Industrial Access Allocation, provided the state is given a 40-foot right-ofway.
