A number of accidents occur* red in this area over the week* end and one the preceding week* end. _■,/

On September 30 a three-car accident occurred at 4:30 P.M. on Route 211 about 3% miles west of Washington. James Wil* liam Bowen of Warrenton driv* ing a 1957 Plymouth sedatt pulled on to the highway from Pine Knot Inn into the path of Henry Anton Salah of Washings ton, D. C. in a 1962 Chevrolet*. In attempting to stop the Salah ? automobile skidded into the left lane, striking a 1961 Ford sedan driven by Wilbur Fletcher of Washington, Va. According to W. A. Buntin of the State Police there were no injuries and dam* . age was estimated at g400.00. *

Saturday, October 6, Gordon Leroy Graves of Amissville, driving his 1959 Ford sedan and Wayne Allen Snyder of Middle* town in a 1960 Plymouth station wagon sidewiped on a curve. Each car ran off the right side of the road through a fence. The accident happened at 7:1S | P.M., five miles east of Washington on Route 211. Approximately $1000 damage was done
