The Annual Union meeting of the Thorntons Gap Primitive Baptist Church wiH be held on Saturday, October 20, 1962 in the school auditorium at Sperryville. Elder W. Daily, Elder C. W. Boyd, Elder W. H. Lewis and all home ministers are expected to attend.

The regular official board meting was held last Mon. night in the Methodist Church with ! the following members present: I The Reverend J. B. Grimmer! and Mrs. Grimmer, Miss Ruth I Menefee, George L. Taylor, Mrs. John Eubank, Jr., Nina Brown and Mrs. Roy Reeve. Further improvements on the church were discussed but no definite action was taken.

Mrs. H. L. Smith, her daughter Mrs. Gerry Gossum, and children of Falls Church were overnight guests on Wednesday of George W. Brown.

Mrs. F. D. Coffey, her son I Frank, and Mrs. Perle Rector Coffey were guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers in Flint Hill,

Miss Carolyn Brown of Washington, D. C. was a weekend guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown.

Julian Brown and his mother Mrs. Catherine Brown were in Norfolk for the day Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser and two children of Arlington were guests on Sunday in the Brown home.

Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor were Mrs. Florence Highlander and Mrs. Mary Bywaters of Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Jr. motored to Fredericksburg Sunday to visit their grandfather who is a patient in a hospital there.

Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Corbin of Baltimore, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Richard Streit, and family and Mrs. Myrtle Jenkins of Winchester. Buddy Aylor of Arlington was a weekend guest of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Aylor and his daughter Stevie Aylor.

Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Kight of Silver Spring, Md. spent the weekend with Mrs. Betsy Harrell on Sycamore Island.
